May 19th, 2005

Ava woke up and panicked, sceaming, at 5:45AM. I ran in and found her UNDER her bed. Lifted up one end and she crawled out.

Tom, mom & dad were all off today. At 9:30 we all headed down to Chris' to help get the house ready for John to come home on hospice. Nurse arrived around 2PM ... the ambulance came with John at about 2:15. (Star Wars 3: Revenge of the Sith opened today) Tom, Ava and I left at 3. Mom's staying overnight.

Dad brought Lee over at around 6PM. He's sleeping here tonight.

May 18th, 2005

John still in the hospital.

I went down to Chris' to watch the kids so John & Cheryl could go to the hospital. Took kids to the park. Mom came after work, at 3:30.

Ava went to bed, in the crib. Slept all night til 8am when she climbed out and came to our room. Threw Tom's clothes on him, on the bed.

Tom went to get Sandra & Jacen at 9AM because they were moving John to ICU.

Ava went for her 18 month well-check at 11:50. She's 25 pounds, 31 inches ... got 4 shots (polio, mmr, hib and chicken pox)

Mom, Lee, Sandra & Jacen all stayed overnight.

Ave slept in toddler bed for first time. Slept all night.

May 17, 2005

Tom put Ava to bed. About 5 mnutes later she climbed out of her crib and ran into the living room to me. Got her back to sleep and put her back in the crib. She slept all night but when she woke in the morning she climbed out again and came to me in the back room.

John is in the hospital (2nd day).
